I have been pleasantly surprised by the Knives Out films! They have not been heavily advertised, at least in comparison to many other films, yet the two that have come out so far have had a great cast and an interesting plot. I can usually detect and predict twists in movies, but I was not expecting some of the twists in this one, which was pleasant. I can trust that it'll be thrilling, fun, and interesting, without being disgusting, scary, depressing, or gorey. It's like watching a well designed puzzle game. I look forward to the next one!

I clicked on this thinking it was "Dune Part 1", which I'd heard was epic. This movie is not epic. I wish I'd known what I was watching, I might have liked it better had I known about its low budget and plot beforehand. Even so, I think it was too long for what it was. The acting was convincing, I thought the actors did a great job, as did the makeup artists and CGI. The plot could have been completed in maybe 30 minutes and kept our interest and attention better, though.
