Many rated the movie unfavorable due to the way the curse of Bye Bye Man is introduced. They thought the name of the entity is hilarious and in the same time, impractical by just saying the villain's name. But for me, this kind of horror component is creative. This one is different compared to Kruger's curse or in any type of death in Final Destination. Maybe I'm bias but I admit I love death-related curse movies instead of boring jumpscares from horror ghost movies. It just composed you in a closed small box while putting you in the protagonist's situation wherein no one is believing you of what supernatural is happening right now. That kind of horror component is what I am looking for. I admit I enjoyed the whole movie. If there's a sequel, expect me in theaters.
