Amadeus Medusa

I read Endo's book years ago and was greatly affected by it. The film does manage to convey the complexity of the situation and the way that all the characters are transformed in one way or another. In many ways it raises questions not only about faith but about changing societies to suit our own predispositions, be they religious or political. Great film great dialogue and faithful to the book. In places rather too slick in an American way.
