All the people making fun of and dissing the show are being way too picky. As a huge fan of greek mythology and of the percy jackson series in general, I LOVED the first 2 episodes! Sure there were some cool scenes from the book missing. Sure the actors/actresses aren’t 100% physically accurate. But some things people need to keep in mind is 1. COPYRIGHT - It’s a big thing, producer’s and director’s and everyone apart of the show completely understand that scenes will have to be different in order to avoid copyright issues 2. RICK RIORDAN - Rick Riordan was apart of EVERYTHING, and he made the ultimate decisions in the end about scenes and casting, because it’s originally HIS series. Not disney’s series. If he was ok with changing some things about casting/scenes, then OBVIOUSLY those are things that he, as the author, decided was ok to leave out. 3. SHOW v. MOVIE - Within the first two episodes the show is already 100x more accurate than the movies ever will be. Period. - If i could, i would watch the first two episodes over and over for the first time again and again. Yet, i cannot watch the movies at all because it just makes me cringe. 4. OVERALL - This is, by far, one the absolute best book to show adaptations that i have ever watched. I will be watching more of this and will watch over and over again ***(key word: adaptation. Meaning: NOT 100% EXACT)***
