I was saddened to see a derogatory depiction of children who are homeschooled. Unfortunately, when the character said he was homeschooled the detective im the series said: “You’re that kind of snowflake.” Many people in our country have a personal reason for homeschooling their children. Unfortunately this Kind of bullying seems to be acceptable to many people in Hollywood. I enjoyed the show, though the comments were derogatory, but I think at this point in our society. I find it awful to see this kind of behavior from Hollywood. Some children are homeschooled because of illnesses others because of bullying. When you comment and call the children snowflakes, you are bullying those children. Find a way to fix what you’ve done it’s not fair to the children and their families. We all do our best to raise our Children. Please stop bullying, children, for being homeschooled. Unless you walk a mile in their shoes, you have no idea why they were homeschooled. In the end most children grow up to be well adjusted members of society. They are hard working people who have been socialized in various setting with children and adults alike. I’ve had to point this out to the Woman of the View years ago. I did hope it would end with them. I hope you understand the harm you may cause to a young person by using derogatory comments aimed at homeschooled children.
