It's rough.Its not what you want it to be.The psychological aspects of this film are too realistic to be entertaining.People suck would be a good summary of the message here.Hopefully,most can leave this movie, still confident that this doesn't hold true for every person,just many.That is how you keep from getting extremely emotionally depressed or getting detached in one way or another.Anyways,very good movie,and not as simple as people that are shutting it down want it to be.Both Phoenix and Lady Gaga do great here.Its just not very rewatchable.As a matter of fact,I doubt I'll ever watch it again.Not because it's bad,just not fun.The musical part,I'll agree,could have been a bit less.But I feel that it was,overall done well and gives the movie a uniqueness.If you do go to see this,don't expect any kind of adrenaline rush.Be analytical.

This is one of my all time favorite slashers from the eighties.Every time I watch it,it makes me so nostalgic 😢. I've read so many times how this movie is a feminist feature that was made by a woman for women.Dude,these are my kind of women!!!They look,think,and even talk exactly the way that I picture ideal women.Man,boys these days just don't know what they are missing.Anyways,guess I actually like this one for all the wrong reasons.The actual horror is pretty lame.But I will always love this one.I remember seeing this the first time at my babysitters house when I was like 7 or 8!!Hell yeah!

This was one of my favorites as a kid.Im a lifelong horror fan.But viewing this today for the first time in years,I'm disappointed to say that this movie is extremely dull,drawn-out,and boring .There's really not much of a story here.What is here has aged awfully.What has endured the test of time,and what I remembered the most as well,is fantastic werewolf makeup and a great transformation scene. .Especially for when this was released,and way before any cgi.However this makes for about 10-15 minutes total of the whole movie.The rest sucks.This was typical of movies from back in this time.One good special effects showcase was the anchor of the whole standard 90 minutes,which sometimes seemed forever.Today,4 hrs of cgi wonderment goes by pretty fast,so I'm seeing that,finally,after all these years.If only the artistic factor was reunited more often with our artificial movies of today,we'd get that movie magic ignited once again.

This movie was actually very entertaining.More funny than anything I guess.I wouldn't know what kind of movie the dorks of the day would consider good.Those that take these comic book movies so seriously are definitely compensating for a less than stellar life.Even when I was a kid,I didn't consider fiction as so important,and I was more than happy to overlook shortcomings to be entertained.My 12 year old nephew,who begged me to take him to see this,also enjoyed it.This is not an easy task!It's amazing that people want this superhero time killer to be real life.A reflection of the times we are in,I'm sure of it.Anyways,good movie!

I have to write a review about this one,seeing all the one star reviews.I think that in society,it takes all kinds.Our current cybersocial state displays this in all its glory.This is definitely not the typical super hero film.And maybe it does actually stretch PG-13 to the limit.But from a mature,adult standpoint,fantastic film incorporating multiple complex human issues into an entertaining comic book story.Any person who has ever read comics will understand that this was always the premise behind the superhero concept.There is no perfect person.We think we know what perfect is.We see it,feel it,just can't quite ever achieve it.This movie embraces that beautifully.On top of that,the music is great.Anyone that doesn't think so,doesn't know music or multiple musicians over a forty plus year span.The effects on this one are superb.Best displays of CGI I have ever seen.Great action and humor. I could pick apart a thing or two that was meh,but given the epic before me,hardly worth the effort. The only problem with the movie is that it was so damn intensely deep,I don't know if I want to watch it again.The fact that 80 percent of the films treachery was on animals is almost too much for me to take.Ive never hated the bad guy more than in this movie.My hat off to that portrayal.He did a great job being a POS. The take away from this movie is that it makes you want to be a better person.Not a particular color or identity or species even.If you were born to stand upright on two legs,the story here is supposed to be thought provoking at the very least. But not for kids,however I don't think that 13 is too young for a person to at least begin to be presented with the issue of being worthy of a soul.And as much of a bummer as that kind of thinking can be,you have it in this film in the most fun way it could possibly be.
