Menyatta Porter

I am a very casual Ghibli fan. This movie was on my radar for a while, and I finally have the time to sit down and watch it, The only reason it gets two stars because it’s pretty. I believe they thought the prettiness of the movie would carry them with a very distinct lack and incoherence of storytelling. One of the weakest films to date, neck and neck with “Mary and the witches flower.” Very disappointing.

This was a fantastic show from beginning to end and I love how fleshed out all the characters are. I really hope they come out with a season two.

I love these original ideas. What a breathtaking movie, from start to end.

The show is beautiful and incredible in so many different ways. I adore the story, the characters and the symbolism throughout, but what I really love about the show is how much care love is obviously put into it. The actors did a fantastic job and the composition for all the scenes is incredible. This wasn’t some action packed slop put together to ride off cocktails, This was a lovingly painted piece and I really hope we see more from the creators.
