It’s surprising to see the negativity surrounding "Uljah," especially given how engaging and skillfully crafted the film is. Jahnvi Kapoor delivers an outstanding performance that elevates the entire movie, imbuing her role with depth and nuance that truly captivates the audience. The film’s narrative unfolds with a strong, coherent plot, maintaining suspense and interest from start to finish. The story is both compelling and well-paced, featuring intriguing twists that keep viewers hooked throughout. The combination of emotional depth and a well-constructed storyline highlights the film’s exceptional quality. Rather than the criticism it often faces, "Uljah" deserves recognition for its impressive storytelling and Jahnvi Kapoor’s remarkable contribution, making it a memorable and rewarding cinematic experience.

I did not understand the storyline. It featured cheap vulgarity, one-day marriages, one-day divorces, and accepted cheating. The story was stupid and, if it was meant to be a comedy, it wasn't funny at all. I didn't like Vicky Kaushal in this type of role. Overall, don't waste your money. Our society is losing its values with stories like Animal and this one. Bollywood is producing absolute garbage.

Being the biggest fan of Mr. Rajkumar Hirani, this is one of his weakest productions. The movie's story is excellent, but overall, it's boring. If you're a fan of Munnabhai, PK, or 3 Idiots, every scene will feel like a recycled version from those films, presented in a different manner. I can watch his old films countless times without getting bored, but this one didn't even feel worth completing once. It has moments of boredom and forced comedy, reminiscent of better versions seen in his earlier movies. Some other observations: The chemistry between Tapase and Shahrukh is lacking; Shahrukh looks completely plastic or alien 🤣. It's a waste of talent, like Boman Irani. I'm expressing this at length because it's an RH production, and I have emotional ties to his movies. I wish he understood the expectations of his movie fans and created a more impactful film. P.S. The story had the potential to be fantastic, but there are too many shortcomings. Did they not watch the movie before releasing it? I'm disappointed, giving it two stars in the hope that RH will return with a bang. One bad movie can't diminish his reputation as a director based on his previous work.

This film ought to be prohibited due to its explicit content involving sex, murder, and a detrimental influence on society. It imparts no valuable lessons, promoting only violence and senselessness. The portrayal of multiple marriages, extramarital affairs, and lawless killings contributes to the erosion of societal values. The actors, directors, and creators associated with such productions are playing a role in the degradation of our society. If you haven't yet watched it- DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Ok, where do I start? My message is for those who gave the movie a one, two, or three-star. This movie deserves at least four. Out of all the perspectives film has to offer. Out of being a combo of comedy, sci-fi, and action, I will talk about only one part which touched me, The roller coaster of emotions it took me. I have been struggling a lot inside recently because everything everywhere, all at once, is going inside my head. Struggling to bring a balance in my life and to those who matter to me. I have nightmares almost every night. The time I struggled to decide whether I should consult a therapist, luckily, I got to watch this movie, and guess what??? I related a lot to almost everyone in the film. Evelyn's financial struggle, her father's perspective of her, Joy's depression and wanting to disappear into the bagel( a black hole), nihilism and Waymond's way of surviving with googly eyes and hope, doesn't this relate to all of us?? The dialogues like Out of all the universes, you are worried that in this one, I like girls, you are extraordinary because you are living your worst- there are so many parts in the movie which I guess most people will relate to. Yes, I was bored in some of the part after half an hour, but still, the action is enjoyable, and the movie engages us a lot after sucked into the bagel scene. So you know, whoever gave this movie a one-star, you look like you are living 100% of your life and couldn't relate to any scene. This movie isn't for you, and you don't need to waste your time rating it :).. please save this movie for those who cried, who laughed, and who realized to love a little more from this movie. We will give it a 5 * and wish it all the best for the Oscars. Even if it doesn't win, it won many people's hearts.
