I like Schwarzenegger. And I like his movies even if they're bad because they're usually bad funny or bad fun even when they're bad. And if they're good and I'm sure there has to be one or two that were good then they're really good. Like last action hero I think that was better than I expected and of course the Terminator series. So I was looking forward to seeing this. However it's bad, comically bad but not in the funny way. The dialogue is well, to keep using the same adjective, it's bad. The plot is bad the interaction is bad and I haven't been able to make it through the second episode and the first episode took days because I kept stopping and finding anything else was more pressing. Honestly I think some of my problem is not Schwarzenegger or the theoretical daughter themselves but the supporting cast are very shallow pale caricatures. The blonde woman seems to be the butt of jokes and then plays the stereotype role of being loud and obnoxious perhaps to offset other implied negative characteristics about her. And the more that I think about it it's definitely some kind of stereotype / caricature role that is pretty empty. And seeing that sort of thing is just frustrating. I have never had such a lousy response to a show before. In that, this show is remarkable.
