Bit of a funny film really, I kinda enjoyed it while watching it but the more I think about it, the more that's wrong with it.
Premise is that Jodie is a tall girl who hates being tall, she has a bff and a male friend who absolutely won't take no for an answer.
Cute, tall Swedish boy comes to school and all kinds of emotional teenage drama ensues.
Spoilers here. What gets me is the film is supposed to be about her growth and learning to love herself, but in the end she gets together with her friend who wouldn't take no for an answer. AFTER he spends 90% of the film sabotaging her potential relationship with Swedish guy. Really health message and it leans heavily into the "nice" guy is owed a relationship by s girl because he did XYZ trope.
