Read the manga 30 years so ago, watch Jacky Chan version and Korean Drama version, this one is the closest to the manga. While I'm a fan of Jacky Chan but that 20 years so movie feels like any Jacky Chan movie which I also love, fun martial arts action comedy but this one takes the cake both in action and comedy. Unlike the very dramatic korean version, this one got the right amount of balance in the extreme. Other reviewer said it was not balanced enough, so I disagree. This movie has the most common sense between action and comedy, on both end of the extreme. This adaptation takes me back to 3 decades ago in junior / highschool and made me remember why I like City Hunter. For newcomer, it is explained very well the beginning of the story in 103 minutes. Recommended this movie but not with children.
