Best New offshoot from the original series with NCC 1701 being the flagship of Starfleet with Christopher Pike as captain with Spock and Uhura making their introduction to the Enterprise while James Kirk is just a Leutenant with intermittent cameo appearances. Enjoyable and entertaining.

Probably one of if not the worst movie I have ever seen. Disconnected scenes of wanton violence and wantabe special effects adding up to a total waste of time. So bad I couldn't even make it to the end. Sam Neil must be spent all the money he made from Jurassic Park and now has to team up with no count no name starving actors.

This has to be one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen. Total waste of time. At the very end of the movie, Eric Roberts tells the president to callhim the "Replacement," instead of the "Alternate." Roberts couldn't even remember the name of the movie.
