Wow I wish we had this book in school and was taught sex ed backed by research instead of the trash I grew up with on the Internet. Would have saved me and other kids a lot of suffering well into our adulthood, from the shame and dangerous situations we ended up finding ourselves in because we didn't know anything about sex and learned what it was from the worst sources (abusive people, exploitative media, toxic school environment that did not respect consent or autonomy, etc). If you care about your children you would want them to have the information that gives them the choices that they can make to stay safe. Gave four stars bc it is really education heavy and dense which might turn some kids away from wanting to read it.
