Definitely worth watching. The acting is beautifully crafted. Made toward the end of WW 2 . Occurs to me this may have prompted the strong social aspects to the film. Reflecting on a more harmonious society where many people don't have to struggle so. An uplifting message in general. Some touching , tender scenes between a couple falling in love. One is left hoping that the happiness demonstrated in this City we never see is something that can be felt back in their s and society in general lives.
