The Hindu epic Ramayana served as inspiration for the upcoming 2023 Indian legendary epic film Adipurush. Om Raut wrote and directed the film, which was produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devbatta Nage, among others, were all present on set at the same time to shoot scenes in both Hindi and Telugu.
