A brilliant crime novel and a nightmare town out narrator arrives to. The people he meets along the way are well drawn and has a great way of writing. The plot comes to a satisfying conclusion. Unusually it stands up to being re-read because the language is so good.

I really enjoyed this series, for someone who struggles with long series of more than 10 episodes it ticks many boxes for me. In the 9 episodes it has cinema quality action, stunts and effects. My interest was kept after the first episode which is usually a pilot and I found the story interesting and intreging. I knew of the game but hadn't ever played it. In episode 5 you ha e a fight scene similar to what you'd get a computer game and all the better for it. I loved it.

Solo is an enjoyable action film that keeps the Han solo character as the smuggler and petty criminal who just happens to have some charm to bluff his way through life.
It's a bit long but is a worthy standalone film. I hope there are more standalone films.

Iron maiden still release top notch risky albums. the first song in a minor key is unlike anything else they have done before. A fantastic live band who have some of my favorite albums. Many of those favorites of theirs are the new ones released from 2000 onward. Dance of death, A matter of life and death and this one.
