Nepotism never works out in the end; but even if Adam Sandler’s children could act, this movie would still be terrible. What I saw was a plot that was so far removed from the real world as to be a complete turn-off. I am so disappointed in Adam Sandler, a wonderful actor who completely lost touch with this bomb! I viewed this movie with my children and grandchildren and not one of us thought it reflected ( even satirically) junior high, middle school, Hebrew school, or bat mitzvah parties. The Summer I Turned Pretty, though also farfetched, had a better script and acting. I thought the Adam Sandler film borrowed heavenly on it, but came nowhere near its success!
