I am not a big fan of the show. Thought it was entertaining, but a little simplistic. Needed more maturity and a longer run. The movie, however, failed to do the series any justice whatsoever. Horrible effects, dull acting, waste of a good idea. Watch the series, not this piece of... Hollywood horror. My wife, a HUGE fan of the series, took her younger cousins to this movie as a treat... and apologized to then afterwards.
