Overall a good game. I felt it was amazing gameplay. Every battle felt carefully planned out from the developers. You could approach each battle a million different ways, each combat exhilarating and fun. The amount of detail is crazy insane. Every where you go is beautifully made and looks amazing. I do admit though that opening thousands of file cabinets is very boring. But the game play detail is great too. When you upgrade your gun you actually see the character pull the weapon apart and upgrade the specific part of the gun that would increase the stat you chose. The story was fine. It was too dark for my tastes. The game forces you to kill so many people. I don’t understand why people were going batshit crazy over Joel dying. Everybody knew it was gonna happen. A big problem for me though was the ending. I have no idea why Ellie doesn’t kill Abby. I mean, Ellie doesn’t care when she kills the other hundreds of people before her. Maybe she spared her for plot armor? Anyway a fine game, but a not so great story.
