This is a great Bossa Nova album! Love how much it sounds like "Jazz Samba"!

As a jazz musician myself, I found this album to be a real pleasure to listen to, especially because it blends RnB with jazz. The band calls it Soul Jazz, but I think it's really Crossover, especially with the covers. The musicianship is really good, and the originals are cool, but the covers are the best thing about this album, especially Unthinkable.

As a jazz musician and fan, this album is a little out there for me. The concept is definitely cool, but it could use more traditional melodies here and there. The musicianship is excellent, however I feel the entire concept of the album is an issue. Aside from mostly being improvised, it also adds an element of pop that's cool in some places, and out of place in others.

This is such a cool twist! Reminds me of Postmodern Jukebox.
