based on a true story before the Berlin wall came down. Those pushing socialism should watch it. Heck, we all should watch it. When the wall came down we lost a very tangible reminder of the oppression brought on by Marxism. No matter what form of government there is, it can be corrupted by those in power. Socialism, communism more readily allows for it. The movie is a thriller and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's a happy yet tragic ending as you feel for those left behind. It is worth watching. I saw it when it first came out and recently bought it on Amazon Prime as there is a movement in America to adopt socialism.
