Pretty sensational. A fantastic series, only marred by my desire for it to have lasted longer. Harry Melling was a surprise to see out of the role of Dudley Dursley, but he was fantastic in The Queen's Gambit. As was Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who I know mainly from his role in Game of Thrones in seasons 3 and 4. But of course, the standout performance belonged to Anya Taylor-Joy. Her portrayal of a substance addicted, orphaned, chess prodigy was incredible to see, and she's secured herself as one of my favorite actors. After this and her role in Split, I'm definitely keeping a lookout for any future projects from her.
