Mark Price

Just one guys opinion...Not a horror movie. There is some suspense and lots of blood and lots of rabbits but no bloody rabbits. Confused? Yeah me too. Acting was good. Story was weak. Not sure exactly what Peele was going for here, but for me, it missed the mark. Perhaps I was expecting a horror movie and so I missed the point of the movie which was somehow trying to connect to a Bible verse Jeremiah 11:11 that deals with God punishing folks for worshipping false idols I think. Not sure what false idols the main characters were worshipping. Rabbits, hands across America, clones with no souls, giant scissors for weapons, douchey rich friends, and a boat motor that regularly dies and then starts unexpectedly. The jokes were the most memorable part of this movie for me.

Not good. "SPOILER ALERT" Sorry, I really wanted to like this one but it seems like a poor remake of the Child's Play movie. Killers soul inhabits newborn, parents try everything to ignore kids weirdness, hippy doctor gives accurate but crazy sounding diagnosis, one parent finally gets it but is too late. The ending left an opening for a sequel but please...please don't make one.
