Ernest (Catherine's fiancee) was the only person to go through the Stargate after it was found in Giza and had a full underwater pressure suit on. Successful connection randomly by accident. Never again until decades later when Daniel Jackson figured it out. This show and series throws canon in the trash. So that makes this nonsense.....trash.
