This could have been much better if only the writer had put some backdrop of the parent's divorce story.
Though they are too attached and in love with one another without a proper back story the emotional appeal falls flat.
Overall a nice feel-good kind of a movie.
But it could have been garnished a little here and there.
Will I recommended this ? Yes , to lighten up your mood a bit.

This is a too lengthy book for this kind of a story and plot. Mildred becoming a very successful businesswoman in a very short period of time is kind of unrealistic.
The part of Veda is quite unbelievable. She is against her mother for no reason.
Ray was almost not needed in the novel. Her demise is almost irrelevant to the storyline.
This is a very plain, boring ans insipid kind of tale of unrealistic characters.
After chapter 12 the novel was quite unbearable and I finished it somehow just because I had invested so much time reading the 12 chapters.
Very poor story. Very disappointing novel.
Please don't read.
