Robert Zinker

I stumbled into this trilogy, and have enjoyed trying to follow the story after several viewings. Takeshi Kitano gives a great, underplayed performance as an ever dangerous, brooding, cold blooded killer, feared by his bosses as well as by his opponents. His respect and devotion to his old boss does credit to the Yakuza and Samurai tradition.

"Strigoi" is a charming and bewildering piece. I was never quite sure what is going on, and I'm OK with that. After all, it's a vampire movie.
