I didn’t get through the second episode, so I can’t give a FULL review, but that should tell you something too.
I was looking forward to this period piece, but i couldnt keep watching… each character seemed extraordinarily cliché. The cringey father/daughter scenes seemed so children’s storybook-y that it turned me off immediately. The ultra villain Nazi scum commander was also classic and boring. There wasnt enough substance in any of the character development narratives to hook me.
Shortly after starting episode 1 i felt bored and uninspired. After feeling the same in episode 2, i decided to look at some other reviews to see if i was crazy or preaching to the choir. Sorry, choir. I stay preaching.
