I do watch the programme with interest, seeing how deep the stories are investigated.
My greatest interest in this episode was about Hillsong church leaders. It was said that the higher the leaders go, the less chance they have to intercede with Jesus. I’ve been to Bible College and I remember one lecturer saying to us as students that the closer you grow to God, the lower the rung on the Christian ladder you descend. Meaning the closer you are to God the more humble you become.
These high and mighty preachers are motivational speakers, trained to spur people on and they choose music that gets the emotions running high, sending the crowd in a frenzy.
Very sad. Church should be small home groups like they did it in the early church, like AD40 onward.
