3.5/5 The first two episodes were ok. Kalidas ,Shanthanu ,Kalki and Anjali did good jobs at acting but the plot could've been better. These two were disappointing . Then comes the game changer .Vaanmagal is too real and hence terrifying. In oor iravu its hard to find a villain. Simran does her role perfectly and the kids are brilliant. Sai pallavi and Prakash Raj is on point. Its difficult to point out where Prakash's character is wrong because thats how he is. As a film Paava Kathaikal could have been better considering the names associated with it. Honestly the first two episodes felt unnecessary.If it was just the last two episodes it would be a 5/5 for me. A point to add is that since Sudha is a succesful director who is appreciated for her works , she could have taken the challenge to have a transgender person do the role instead of a cis actor do it.
