This book reminds us that all of us arrive broken and that the God who made us, values us. In the Bible we see over and over that those chosen to serve were not the perfect ones, the beautiful ones, or those with all the skills. Having carried the scars of divorce for years, Jason reminds me that God has a plan for me, and with His forgiveness, comes the cleansing of my failures, and a new tug on my heart to accomplish what ever HE sets before me. Pleasing God, and following my Lord Jesus, are my priorities, along with supporting the family I am blessed with, and fulfilling the work God has for me in my life.
This book would make an excellent bible study, especially for men who try to be good, struggle with their past, and need to draw closer to the Lord. That's all of us. Shalom,
