I agree that the movie didn’t live up to the trailer. Acting was amazing. Beginning of the movie was slow. Once Hugh Grant got going I was excited to see where the movie would go. I felt there were so many great places it could have gone, and it went the wrong way. I get the metaphors, and yada, yada, yada, but the ending fell flat for me. Also, it annoyed me that the women knew so much about everything. Sister Paxton was made out to be this naive scared girl, then all of a sudden she’s Sherlock Holmes? It made no sense.

They spent the entire budget on actors. They forgot about CGI and editing. The directing sucked also. I never thought so many great actors would be so terrible. I still enjoyed the movie though.
