The show is very good and insightful. It is not the typical show I would watch. Many people are mentioning Gina and Martin in these reviews, and well, I didn’t like Martin, so I wouldn’t like any show that would be considered in this genre. However, this show does depict all the issues that happen in many relationships between black men and black women, and I think it’s worth a watch even to try to get some insight. I think those that don’t like this show are probably the ones that are going through these very things and don’t like what they see or feel. I’m not saying all, but there are some things in the show that is going to be triggering mentally as. This show goes through all the generational curses that affect people from different sizes of the classism spectrum. Everybody has their generational curses in the black community, but we often don’t see them from both sides, and this show does tackle that as centered around Zach.
If you’re trying to understand relationships today as an African-American or a black person in America, what you are going through and why you were going through it. If you’re looking and have questions as to why you accept in your relationships, why do you do things to sabotage your relationships ,then this is a show for you to watch because while it is funny and entertaining it does set some conversations and questions that should be had between all of us
