The updated edition is much better than the previous ones as it now deals with the real problems of allowing decisions to be made by computers. But, I must complain about the price. Having taught courses in "remedial" math at a community college, I realized that a course that depends on a book that is expensive and frequently updated, students often get stuck with a book that has no value after they take the course. They can't resell it easily, and the information in the book gets outdated quickly.
