This used to be my favorite series up until the producers decided not to wait on Neslihan’s recovery, and put Tuba to play the role of Mavi. They might as well change the title of the show because there is nothing more about The Ambassador’s daughter!! The new screenwriters have destroyed the essence of this beautiful story by allowing Sancar to 'move on' from his legendary love who was also the mother of his daughter! Neslihan Atagul's exit from the series was due to health reasons, but that doesn't account for the way they showed Nare running away (completely out of character) and Gediz' senseless death. The replacement actress, Mavi, does not match the tonality of this series or the acting calibre of her predecessor. Also, such a stupid scenario when Sancar met Mavi at the same little house where he used to spend time with Nare. The chemistry between Sancar and Mavi is simply fake… How could Sancar forget Nare so fast and fall in love with another woman? And how did everybody stop remembering Nare? Elvan, Melek, Muge... Quite disappointing, it felt like I was watching Kara Para Ask instead.
