It was excellent except for Finney’s portrayal of Poirot. He was more like the Hunchback of Notre Dame than the Belgian sleuth. His accent was quite phonetic and difficult to understand.

Ridiculously liberal and full of cartoon characters.

This is a terrible series - an exercise in anti-Catholic hatred by drink-sodden ex-Catholics. It produces the usual stereotypes of evil, authoritarian nuns and corrupt priests and alleged hypocrisy of the Irish Catholic middle classes. It is totally lacking in nuance or subtlety and, unfortunately, will be lapped up by all those who hate Catholicism. A very depressing series.
