Hard to suspend disbelief. Too many shoddy moments where they drag 2022 ideas of what a young lady should be like into the 1800, hence the daughter acts like a lunatic millennial. Completely out of place and inauthentic, IMO.

If you like to watch woke feminist bitterness on naked display, then Anatomy of a Scandal is just what the doctor ordered. That the wife would bring down her own family, the man she loves (and who loves her), and even the government by proxy to right a so-called wrong two decades old is a fantasy — nonsensical, selfish, and unrealistic. The ideology, which is not-so-deftly woven into the plot, is just the thing to revive your delusions if you are a ‘wokist’. You will be quite pleased. If you are not a wokist, save 6 hours of your life ad watch something worthwhile.
