I think that this film was underwhelming with the plot. It didn’t take advantage of its setting, and ended up taking place within a facility instead of playing on the coexistence factor. The one scene that was most impressive was the raptor chase in Malta. It was beautifully put together, and made the story engaging and fun. I felt like everything else was either boring or underwhelming. I felt like Allan Grant and Ellie Satler’s return to the franchise was more of a tool to get you into the story, but failed to do so. The parts where they have callbacks to the original films were incessant and underwhelming, which was the experience of most of the film. Conclusion: Too many callbacks, underwhelming, and lack of coexistence factor.
