After reading some of these reviews I'm simply baffled. Did we all watch the same movie?? Some reviewers thinking they are yelp review critics straight out of South Park. This was the worst M. Night film I have ever seen. I was so hyped when the trailer was released- I even stopped it mid trailer as to not have it potentially ruin anything. **Semi spoilers The first hour is nothing but Night showing his daughters acting/singing. It was song after song after song with a mix of Josh Hartnett character checking into some stuff. M. Night interjected her into the killer storyline in the most obsurd way that is completely unrealistic. The story had so many plot holes and things just didn't make sense. I kept waiting for certain things to be explained which never were. I walked out with more questions than anything. I'm trying not to give away anything in case you decide to waste 2 hours, not much to spoil since it's all predictable. You want a scary thriller??there's plenty of real serial killer documentaries on Netflix

I liked the movie itself but the lead actress character is written so annoying. Ref e.t., does drugs, Loud and crude, shits on Republicans and calls adults bitches- ok we get it you're the cool girl. 🙄
