What do I think of this book? Top shelf. When Idaho was just a territory it was bigger than Texas. Lukas did it! To work this subject and put together a story of this complexity like he did here is big trouble for anybody who thinks they know anything about Idaho, Northwest history. Dos Passos could be better but not by much.
