Literally the worst game I have ever played. Played fifa a lot when I was younger and got back into it recently from 22 onwards but this game is borderline unplayable. I enjoyed fifa 22 and 23 of course they had their issues but I still overall enjoyed the games throughout the years. However, 24 is literally a travesty to play. I only play UT so I can’t speak for anything else but Jesus Christ the gameplay is tragic. The AI on this game is broken. Every shot will get blocked or intercepted unless you’re in acres of space but that is very rare. Interceptions are a joke, players pretty much teleport to intercept passes and the funny thing is my opponent has no idea about it which means they don’t have to do anything to win the ball back. Furthermore, crossing the ball is virtually impossible as the fall backs can jump 5ft in the air and control the cross perfectly on the foot and turn around and pass. Constant bounce backs and awful animations. One ball roll is enough for a 97 rated keeper to collapse on the floor. Games are riddled with broken keeper movement. I like the idea of play-styles but some of them are broken like whipped cross and finesse shot. Red cards are just given out for fun. For penalties keepers can save a top corner shot from haaland. Passing is pathetic. Countless times my players just let the ball roll pass them it’s so strange. As well they very often don’t go where you want them to. The amount of times a keeper jumps and headbutts the post from a penalty is a joke bc in reality they would never get there. That’s just the gameplay. The menus there is so many bugs which they obviously can’t be bothered to fix like the objectives one always wrong with how many objectives you have. So may errors in sbcs which is hilarious at this point. Pack weight is terrible. Servers are tragic as usual. Overall this years has been a struggle to play. Hopefully the next one is an improvement otherwise the game will die as it deserves.
