What a pleasant & bittersweet surprise. This movie had a soul. The characters were endearing & Liam Hemsworth shone even above the powerhouse that is Laura Dern. A wonderful collective effort from the duo & supporting cast. I wish it would have been longer & deeper but I think the lingering longing & sweet ache were the point of it all. Sometimes things don't have to make complete sense - sometimes you have to take the swing route & find hope in the big mess. Very moved & will definitely watch again.
