I love the premise, the characters, and the first half of the movie. I really thought I would love this movie but then ending felt kind of rushed and there were a bunch of loose ends I felt like needed to be tied up. It also felt like the guy who also hid in the stall with the two girls who actually lost someone wasn't getting enough screen time. I feel like they didn't quote touch on what he was going through when he was suffering the most. I also thought that the three of them would become really good friends throughout the movie and work through it together since the three of them were hiding in the stall together but it just ended up being main character jumping between two love interests. Not to mention most of the scenes between the two girls felt extremely awkward and not like they were good friends at all. There was also no interaction between Mia and Quinton which made no sense since they were all in the stall together. Vada also kisses Quinton, runs away, and then he never appears again for the rest of the movie and it's just pretty much forgotten and never addressed again. The fact that this movie was supposed to be about gun violence and most my review is complaining about the love story says a lot about this movie. In the first 40 minutes, I really thought this would be one of my favorites but then it just went downhill from there.
