Good movie. Not good enough though

Unpopular opinion: this movie was not a dumpster fire

This film is a Masterpiece! It's a blast of energy, shockingly touching and inspiring film all while being served beautifully on a silver platter But first let's talk about the haters of this film. The people who hate this film are just mad that things are changing and the older films are obsolete. They hate it because it "makes too much stuff up" and "Has more physically and mentally accurate teens than comically accurate teens". They hate it because it's not the older ones. And that's just straightforward GARBAGE DEFENSE. So your saying that because the TEENAGERS use MODERN DAY SLANG and because the TEENAGE CHARACTERS are played by TEENAGE ACTORS and that it's not accurate to the OLDER stuff makes it worse?? Accuracy isn't important in films! Sometimes when directors change things up with characters isn't always a bad thing! Now that we're done talking about haters, let's talk about the actual movie and.. OH MY GOD THIS FILM IS ART (spoilers ahead) The animation style is straight out of Picasso!! It looks more like a comic book than Into the Spiderverse. They make 2D things WITH 3D things and not 2D things AND 3D things, they blend the 2 art styles together like pure joy on screen. The few things I dislike about this film is of how Michaelangelo is portrayed, mainly his voice actor, it feels like he's an actual middle schooler just reading a paper sometimes, and that isn't too good, neither Jackie Chan as Splinter, they both feel like they're not putting enough effort into such art and it sorta is the only bad thing about that Is what I'd say if the action wasn't Alright, I expected across the spiderverse levels of intensity and action but I just got slightly above average action, some say "well duh it's a kids movie" but plenty other films targeted towards kids have action better than it, and I also kinda dislike how all the other mutants just easily get convinced, it makes the film too easy, But the best thing about this film is SuperFly, he is the best villain of all time, Syndrome levels good, I feel like in his giga monster or whatever form he DOESN'T HOLD BACK, and that's the problem with most modern day villains, they hold back, they are tame, but SuperFly is WILD, AN UNTAMED BEAST. I LOVE HIM Everything else is straight Picasso

If you're someone who says "THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!1!11!11!!" You either are a 60 year old man, who's mad because younger people are playing characters that are meant to portray teenagers. Or, a middle aged man that's too afraid to admit that just because something's nostalgic, doesn't mean it's good. Or someone with a valid reason for hating on this movie
