So today I signed up for the free 7-day trial for DC Universe. I’ve been wanting to check out some the shows. I’ve been a fan of Doom Patrol since I was a little kid, so I was looking forward to it specifically. Wow. What a complete and utter disaster. I can’t believe how utterly terrible it is on just about every level it is. The acting, the effects, the story..just excruciatingly awful. I am really, really disappointed that this is what Greg Berlanti cooked up, after I’ve loved his takes on the Flash and others on the CW. I’m super bummed. Struggled through the awful pilot and ten minutes of episode two before giving up. I don’t want to watch any more of this garbage. I will, to see if it gets better, but man. I guess I just don’t see what everyone else here does.
