Very good screen play from a very good book. John Grisham is among my favorite authors. I loved all of the characters and the actors that played them. Great ending. (great endings to me are very important)

We have really been interested and invested in this show. The storylines are so good. The characters and the actors playing them are really great. I find out CBS is cancelling. A show with twice as many good reviews as Fire Country being cancelled seems illogical. We quit watching Fire Country early on because the storylines were awful especially the Sharon character's story really stunk. But CBS is keeping that and cancelling East New York. Seems pretty fishy to me.

I loved the premise of the show and storylines. When the story lines started to revolve around Diane Farr's character (Sharon Leone) that character's story turned me off. The actress is fine, the character's story and personality stinks. We quit watching the show when she started with the Motorcycle Mama story. Yuk.
