This is a must watch for anyone, no matter where you settle politically. It’s uncomfortable, thought provoking, emotional, and at some times sickening and horrifying.
I am pro-life, and always will be, I am also a survivor of abortion. And I ask this from people I speak to about abortion. What value did I lack that made me unworthy of life? Why was I deemed ‘worthless’ enough, that my mother tried to end my life? Put a face to the children who are murdered, rather than just calling them a bundle of cells of flesh.
This film also touches on other realities that are rarely spoken about. Firstly, the physical and emotional turmoil that a woman goes through after an abortion, which is just conveniently called ‘her choice’. The other thing is that judgment, cruelty and harsh words do NOT help people facing this decision. Compassion, love and grace are what we need to use, and to also employ to those women who are recovering from abortions.
This was very emotional for me, and will effect anyone who watches it in some way or another.
