Regardless of the low ratings, I found this action/adventure flick a welcoming sci-fi spectacle that feels like a blend of the Terminator (plot) & Avatar (visuals) franchises. I'm a huge sci-fan & with JLo at the helm, I knew this was gonna be at least fun, a lil quirky, & to my surprise an overall fun & moving film at the end! I've grown a bit weary of stories that are so convoluted with many moving facets & therefore not a straight plot, forcing simple folks like myself who want to enjoy a nice soda & popcorn movie without having to think too much which hurts one's brains. This is that... plot nothing too fancy but still a fun one, even if it's a hybrid of many past stories & films we've all seen before. The CGI & special effects are decent... just don't think too much of it & enjoy the ride! JLo brings her style & humor to the mix here & gotta appreciate her efforts & performance. She's like Adam Sandler... makes a lot of entertaining movies without the best ratings but still enjoyable. I'll be watching this again shortly! 🍿🎬👍🤩
