I was interested to hear the album after Beyoncé’s amazing collaboration with The Chicks years ago. I just felt though that the producers were throwing everything country they could find at the album and hoping something would stick - the big country stars names etc. Her talent is enough to carry her through pop - not quite sure why the money machine now has to extend to country as well? It’s like Streisands producers back in the day deciding that all of a sudden she had to do a country album. Doesn’t seem authentic and to me the album shows that.
