It wasn't the best tv show but it was interesting.. It had a lot of potential in my opinion. The episode story lines were rushed through, most of them lacked depth and the interpersonal relationships were sometimes a bit forced. I would however love to see it rebooted with a lot of improvements made, like yeah so Calvin is ex-marine but so what? He's experience and trauma there is so rushed through that its almost impossible to relate with him and feel his pain.. its as if that aspect of his life was added as an afterthought to justify his absence from his daughters life and differentiate him from other absentee black fathers.
It's the same shallow writing with other characters, for instance why was Isaac's not affected by the loss of his previous families. He's lived since forever yeah due to the fact that he's somehow immortal but his past experiences are of no significance unless of they're needed to patch up the holes in the story and even then they are just slapped on..
I want to see this re-done with better writers and acting crew
