i really liked this movie. it's about fear of dying where everyone is headed towards death but avoids it. people say the end scene is bad but the shopping food is just about focusing on the present. also some reviews say why they don't explain the characters fear death. like, we just fear it just because we hate disappearing, it's self explanatory, not like a traumatic past or something. the movie actually do state that too and ya missed it. the bad clouds are metaphor of death coming anyway, kinda ironic the husband says he's scared and waiting to die because of the cloud but everyone are all waiting to die. also, hitler and elvis is not about consumerism or leader thingy but being killed or killing others. i literally think about dying all the time so it is nice that someone thinks excessively like i do. the bad reviews are just people who thinks the characters mumble pretentious meaningless stuffs, but the useless informations they speak are what the husband says that humans are vulnerable creatures in a scary facts. the side effect of the pill that makes words become real is just death becoming real in our life that we can't live. it is a nice movie to relate, and the meaning is just straightforward and not complex. literally it's just about relating to each others about the fear of death. but if you are looking for a plot or already present minded then this movie is gonna be bland and pretentious. i hate pretentious movies but this felt nice and genuine to me.
